Scent Oil - Geranium Organic 10ml

Floral and balancing geranium fragrance oil

Organic essential oils are oils extracted from plants that are not grown with pesticides, fertilizers, or other chemicals.

Non-organic essential oils come from products where such chemicals may be used.

If you are concerned about such chemicals in your essential oils, you can look at our range of organic essential oils.

This is an organic essential oil for aromatherapy and fragrant moments.

Geranium essential oil has a strong scent with a floral aroma and notes of mint and apple. The main property of this oil is its ability to balance and uplift the mind and body.

Geranium essential oil is valued in aromatherapy and skincare for its balancing nature. It helps to balance oily and dry skin and is used in aromatherapy to create harmony and relieve stress. Its strong scent is said to keep mosquitoes at bay.

These geranium plants were believed to keep spirits away, just as they kept mosquitoes away, and were therefore planted around houses as hedges. The plants originate from South Africa, Réunion, Madagascar, Egypt, and Morocco and were introduced to European countries during the 17th century. Although there are about 700 varieties of the plant, only 10 provide essential oil in profitable quantities. The varieties planted in gardens usually produce too little oil to be used for extraction.
