This is an essential oil for aromatherapy and fragrance moments.

Citronella oil is extracted through gentle steam distillation from the leaves and stems of the plant species Cymbopogon nardus. It has a very characteristic, intensely fresh, and greenish citrus aroma. The primary countries of origin for this long-standing botanical raw material are Indonesia and China, which together account for a large part of the world's traditional production.

In addition to its popular role in refreshing room fragrances, citronella oil is highly valued in cosmetic skin and hair care. It works excellently as a purifying ingredient in products for oily skin, in balancing scalp routines, and as a naturally refreshing component in homemade deodorants. When diffused, it helps effectively neutralize stuffy odors and spread a clear, crisp feeling throughout the home during warm summer evenings.
